Ampligen 516 The Ampligen 516 double blind, placebo controlled, Phase III Clinical Trial is nearing completion.  Watch for news and results in the coming months, and a move toward FDA approval of the drug for use in CFS.   Ampligen 511 AMP 511 is a "cost-recovery" study approved by the FDA through Hemispherx.   Approved participants may receive IV Ampligen as part of an FDA approved clinical trial, but they must pay for the Ampligen and all services involved in delivery of the drug. Sometimes insurance plans will cover a portion of the non-drug costs.  Dr. Bateman's office has been approved as a site for participation on the Amp 511.  We are seeking interested participants.   Click here to go to the Hemispherx Home Page.
